Messages, stories, live comments and websites, and what happens next.
A message or a story
Press and hold the item and choose the report action. Add a short reason if you can, because a sentence of context makes the review much faster.
A comment in a live room
Press and hold the comment and tap Report. Hosts can also remove a comment from their own room and remove the person who wrote it.
A website opened inside Kool
Open the menu in the browser and tap Report website. That one goes to us as a message with the address attached.
What happens after you report
- The report goes to our moderation queue with what you reported and your reason.
- A human reviews it. Automated rules may act first when something is clearly against the rules.
- Outcomes range from removing the content to suspending the account behind it.
- We do not tell the other person who reported them.
