Calls will not connect
When the ring never lands or the audio falls apart.
The call never connects
- Try a different network. Restricted wifi, especially on corporate or hotel networks, often blocks the traffic calls need.
- Turn on Low data mode in Calls settings and try again.
- Make sure Kool has microphone and camera permission in the iOS Settings app.
They cannot hear you
- Check whether you are muted. The call screen says Muted.
- Check that no other app is holding the microphone.
- Confirm microphone permission in iOS settings.
Bad quality
- Switch off video and continue on audio.
- Move closer to the router.
- Turn on Noise suppression if voices are getting lost in background noise.
Nobody rings you
Calls need notification permission and a working push connection. Work through Notifications are not arriving first, then restart the phone.
