Choose what reaches you
The notification screen, sounds and the per feature switches.

- Open your profile hub and tap Settings.
- Tap Notifications.
- Turn on only the things you actually want to be interrupted by.
Sounds
Message sounds and Mail sounds are separate switches, so you can hear a new chat and let email arrive quietly. Inside Messages settings, Message sound opens its own screen where Sound notifications plays a tone for new messages.
Per conversation
Muting one noisy group is usually better than turning everything off. Swipe the conversation in Messages and tap Mute.
Meetings
Each meeting carries its own Notification setting, from None to At time of meeting. Set it when you schedule.
Social
Follow activity collects new followers and follow requests in one place, with a Follow back shortcut.
