Controls inside the meeting
Screen share, captions, background blur, chat, reactions and recording.

Open the options sheet during a meeting and you get everything in one place.
- Share screen presents what is on your device.
- Blur background hides the room behind you.
- Captions puts live text on screen.
- Meeting chat is the side conversation for links and notes.
- Guests lists who is in the room.
- Start recording and Stop recording control the recording.
If your microphone is being used by something else, the sheet shows Mic in use rather than silently failing.
What the organiser controls
In Meeting settings the organiser decides what everyone else can do:
- Share screen, letting contributors present.
- Send reactions.
- Send messages, so everyone on the call can write in the meeting chat.
- Start with video on.
- Allow screenshots.
- Enable captions.
- Record the meeting.
