Make an audio or video call
Three ways to start a call and what each button on the call screen does.

Start a call
- Go to the Calls tab.
- Tap New call.
- Search for the person, or use the Keypad if you prefer typing.
- Tap the audio icon for voice, or Video call for video.
You can also call straight from a conversation. Open the chat and use the call button in the header.
While you are connected
The call screen shows the state as it happens: Reaching, Ringing, Connecting and then Connected.
- Mute silences your microphone. The screen shows Muted so you do not forget.
- Speaker switches the audio out loud.
- Switch camera flips between front and back on a video call.
- Minimize call drops the call into a small floating window.
- End call hangs up.
Call history
The Calls tab keeps everything you made and received, split into Incoming, Outgoing and Missed. If a list is empty Kool tells you so instead of showing a blank screen.
