Finding your way around

Kool has four controls you will use constantly. Learn these and the rest of the app makes sense.

The floating tab bar

It sits above the bottom edge and holds Messages, Calls, Meetings, Mailbox and Social. Tap a tab to jump, or drag the pill sideways to slide through them.

The search pill

Most screens open with a rounded search field at the top. It filters what is already on that screen, so searching in Messages looks through conversations, and searching in Settings looks through settings.

The plus menu

The plus button is where new things start: a new message, a new call, a new meeting, a new post, a story, a clip or going Live. What it offers changes with the tab you are on.

The profile hub

Tap your avatar to open it. Inside you get:

• Profile settings for your name, handle, bio, link and photo.
• Settings for language, notifications, the security center and each feature area.
• Toggles for appearance and haptics, sitting right above Legal.
• Invite your friend, Share an idea, Rate app, Support and Log out.
• Your app version at the very bottom, which is the number to quote when you write to support.
